Man stabbed at Munno Para, South Australia

A man is undergoing emergency surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach at Munno Para this morning.

Just after 4.30am Wednesday 10 April, police and ambulance crews were called to a home on Alawoona Road, following reports of man being stabbed.

On arrival, they located a 43-year-old man with a single stab wound to the lower abdomen. The man was treated at the scene before being rushed to the Royal Adelaide with a potentially life threatening injury.

Northern District Detectives are investigating, assisted by Crime Scene Examiners and patrols door knocking the street, to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which is not considered a random attack.
