Man stabbed in leg at Enfield, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious assault that has just occurred at Enfield this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to Main North Road, Enfield just after 5.30am on Sunday 3 April by reports a man had been stabbed.

They found a 26-year-old man with serious, but not life-threatening, leg wounds. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance.

It is still very early in the investigation and police are trying to establish the scene of the crime, which is believed to be near the western intersection of Whittington Street and Kensington Crescent.

Police are searching the area for the suspect and clues with the assistance of Police Dog Bandit.
