Man wanted after woman assaulted at Willunga, SA

Police are looking for a man following an assault at Willunga, according to SA Police.

At around 6pm on Tuesday 14 August, patrols and paramedics were called to Main Road after receiving reports of a woman having been assaulted with a weapon. The victim, a 23-year-old from Maslin Beach sustained minor injuries to her face and back and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

The suspect, a 26-year-old from O'Sullivans Beach who is known to the victim, is described as being Caucasian, 171cms tall with a heavy build, blue eyes and short dark brown hair.

It is believed he was driving a white 2013, Toyota Camry sedan which was later found on York Avenue at Clovelly Park.

Prior to the assault, members of the public may have seen a similar vehicle driving erratically on roads between Moana and Willunga.
