The Margaret River Region has taken centre stage as the first-ever Australian host of the prestigious The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards.

The awards recognise outstanding vineyards around the world that combine exceptional wine, food, and visitor experiences, and attracted more than 100 global wine industry representatives to Western Australia's South West for the celebration on 19 November.

Secured by the Cook Government through Tourism WA, this illustrious event is a major opportunity to showcase the State's culinary experiences to the world and further cement WA's reputation as a premium destination for wine, food, and nature-based tourism.

The awards will also be the first-time vineyards are recognised under the esteemed '50 Best' global brand, creating an enviable international media platform for the South West.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Amelia Park Wines, the Awards Night will combine winery tours and tastings, live entertainment, and the highly anticipated announcement of The World's 50 Best Vineyards.

This event kicks off a huge week in the South West, with the return of Pair'd Margaret River Region x Range Rover from 20-23 November 2025, offering delegates attending The World's Best Vineyards awards the opportunity to extend their stay and experience more of WA's top wineries.

Now in its second year, Pair'd showcases the South West's world-class wine, food, and music, featuring exclusive experiences across wineries, and collaborations between international chefs, sommeliers, and the region's top hospitality talent.

Together, The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards and Pair'd offer an unparalleled opportunity to promote the Margaret River Region and wider WA wine scene to a global audience, while also boosting the local economy by attracting wine lovers, industry leaders, and media from around the world.

This event forms part of the Cook Government's events strategy to diversify our economy by driving higher out-of-state visitor attendance and creating a calendar of events all year-round.
