Brisbane Water Police are currently searching for a missing vessel believed to be in the central Moreton Bay area.
Two men failed to return home last night after contacting family at 10.15pm saying they were returning.
Their car and boat trailer remain at the Whyte Island Boat Ramp.
It is unknown where the men were fishing however they may have been close to the Port of Brisbane.
The vessel is a 3.3m long Stacer brand aluminium tinnie, dark blue in colour with red Queensland registration OM209Q (pictured).
The two men are aged 31 and 25 and are both from Brisbane.
Water police and other agencies have commenced searching for the vessel.
