Martin Collins Appointed Director Community

Macedon Ranges Shire Council is pleased to announce Martin Collins as its incoming Director Community from January 2026, following a highly competitive recruitment process.

Martin is an accomplished local government executive with extensive experience in community services. He has successfully overseen diverse portfolios, including early years, aged care, community health, social planning, recreation, communication, and advocacy.

He has most recently been in senior roles with the Victorian Skills Authority, preceded by three years as General Manager Community Wellbeing at nearby Central Goldfields Shire Council. Prior to these appointments Martin has held leadership roles with the Victorian Government and Glasgow City Council.
