Massage therapist sexually assaulted - Ivanhoe

Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad are appealing for information after a massage therapist was sexually assaulted in her Ivanhoe home earlier this year, Victoria Police say.

The woman responded to a request from a man for a massage on 8 April.

The man attended her residence about 12pm and about half way through the massage he has sexually assaulted her several times.

The man then left the premises sometime between 12.50pm and 1pm.

It is believed the man drove or was driven to the woman’s address around midday.

The man is described as in his mid 30s, perceived to be of African appearance, 179cm tall, athletic build, shaved head, with two small scars at the base of his back.

At the time he was wearing a red sweater, black pants, white skate shoes, and sunglasses.

Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad have made significant enquiries in relation to this man since the incident occurred.

Investigators are interested in speaking to a person known as ‘Jay’ in relation to the incident.

Detectives have released a digital composite image of a man they are hoping to identify.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
