Master Illusionist Brings Timeless Magic To Cessnock Library

Cessnock Library is thrilled to announce a one-of-a-kind intergenerational event – 'Timeless Magic: Grandparents and Grandchildren Adventure', featuring master illusionist Joel from JD's World of Magic.

The free event at Cessnock Library from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on 21 October will mark the week of Grandparents' Day, with families invited to share an unforgettable evening of wonder and laughter.

The show has been specially crafted for an audience of grandparents and their grandchildren to enjoy together – it will delight people of all ages with illusions, audience participation, and a focus on the special bond between generations.

It has been funded by the NSW Public Libraries Association in partnership with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

Acting Library Services Co-ordinator Amanda O'Hearn said it was important to secure a spot to the event as soon as possible because organisers expected it would generate a lot of interest.

"This is a truly wonderful opportunity for families to create lasting memories together during Grandparents Day week," said Ms O'Hearn.

"We anticipate a great turnout for Joel's unique show, which is why I urge everyone to book now!"

While the event is free, bookings are essential as space is limited. Reserve your spot by clicking the 'What's on' section of the Library website
