PUBLIC QUESTION TIME
Evelyn Casteres – Rosebery The Mayor was presented a petition with regard to supporting the beatification of Rosebery. Ms Casteres said she has been undertaking the work in her own time with Council refusing to assist when approached. She said that work on the gardens needs to be consistent. Ms Casteres has requested wine barrels which will be planted with selected plants to place in the Main Street of Rosebery. |
Mayor Pitt acknowledged receiving the petition and passed to the General Manager for review under the Act. The General Manager will formally present to Council at the August Council meeting agenda. |
COUNCILLOR RAISED ISSUES
Questions on Notice:
Cr Butterfield To assist with councils' communication to residents would council consider installing council/community notice boards in west coast towns in strategic locations accessible to all? The notice boards would need to be sealed and managed, so they all contained the same information that council puts out to the community. I realise that this would come with some small cost to manage, purchase, install and update information. It could be seen a doubling up. |
