Pull back the curtain on the Gold Coast's hard-working heroes with the return of the City's popular Emergency Services Safari.
The free event at Carrara on 10 May gives residents and visitors a chance to get up close with the dedicated emergency services workers who help keep our community safe during natural disasters.
"The City works closely with emergency services and other agencies, and those strong connections helped us keep people safe during disasters like Tropical Cyclone Alfred," Mayor Tom Tate said.
"The Emergency Services Safari allows residents to see up close the work done to protect our community during natural disasters and support the Gold Coast's Local Disaster Management Group in rescue and recovery efforts.
"Emergency services workers will also show residents what they can do to Get Ready for severe weather events and devise a plan to help protect your family.
