On 4 and 5 December, TARN organised a Conference on "EU Agencies as 'Inbetweeners'? The Relationship between EU Agencies and Member States" that took place at the University of Maastricht. This two-day conference brought together academics and legal experts to discuss the relationship between EU agencies and Member States.
Participating in a panel on the accountability of agencies, Melanie Fink spoke on the potential of the action for damages as a fundamental rights remedy and its challenges in a multi-actor context, focussing on Frontex as an example.
