Major Crash Investigation Section officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Mettler, about 100km north-east of Albany, yesterday, Friday 22 April 2022.
About 10.40am two road trains were being driven east on South Coast Highway near Mettler Road, Mettler, when they were involved in a collision.
The 35-year-old driver of one of those road trains was taken to Albany Hospital for treatment of serious injuries received. The 57-year-old driver of the other road train died from his injuries at the scene.
