Midland Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man in relation to an incident in Midland on Tuesday 10 November 2020 in which a 72-year-old man was injured.
About 7:00pm the 72-year-old victim was walking along The Avenue. It will be alleged the 36-year-old man approached the victim from behind and pushed him into the metal and glass wall/window of an office building.
The victim struck his head and body on a metal railing and fell to the ground. It will be further alleged the 36-year-old man walked away from the victim without providing any assistance.
A member of the public located the injured man and he was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with Aggravated Grievous Bodily Harm. He was refused bail.
