Victoria's most celebrated film event The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is returning to Bunjil Place this April.
Now in its fifth year, and running from 17 to 19 April, this special three-day program brings a curated selection of standout Australian and international films direct from the MIFF program to the Bunjil Place studio. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience the quality and diversity of this film festival without travelling into the City.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said the event is an exciting opportunity for the local film-loving community.

Over the course of the weekend, audiences can enjoy a dynamic program of screening complemented by engaging panel discussions and in-depth Q&A sessions with filmmakers and special guests. From family-friendly animation to powerful documentaries and internationally recognised feature films, the series promises something for every kind of film lover.

Friday 17 April
12:30 pm - The Bad Guys 2 (PG)
Based on the bestselling book series by Aaron Blabey, this animated sequel follows a crew of reformed villains forced into one last high-stakes heist.
6:30 pm - The President's Cake (M)
A Cannes Directors' Fortnight selection, this debut feature from writer/director Hasan Hadi offers a powerful and poetic portrayal of childhood under dictatorship.
Saturday 18 April
4:30 pm - But Also John Clarke (M)
An intimate and revealing documentary exploring the life and legacy of iconic satirist John Clarke through conversations with his daughter.
Sunday 19 April
4:30 pm - Journey Home, David Gulpilil (M)
A moving tribute to one of Australia's greatest actors, following David Gulpilil's final journey back to his homeland.
