Rugby Australia is pleased to announce the Minerals Council of Australia as the Wallaroos' new naming-rights partner for the Pacific Four Series in 2025.
The partnership will commence ahead of the Test between the Wallaroos and New Zealand at Newcastle's McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday, May 10.
Phil Waugh, Chief Executive of Rugby Australia, said the partnership with the Minerals Council of Australia was a testament to the growth of the Wallaroos' performance and profile.
"Rugby Australia is excited to welcome the Minerals Council of Australia on board as the naming rights partner for the Wallaroos' Tests in the Pacific Four Series," Waugh said.
"This partnership demonstrates the leadership position taken by the Minerals Council of Australia in supporting women's rugby at a time when the Wallaroos are making final preparations for the eagerly anticipated Rugby World Cup in the UK later this year.
"The Wallaroos have made significant strides on the field in recent years as we build towards a home Rugby World Cup in 2029.
"Our goals are ambitious and reflect those of the Minerals Council of Australia, who are making great progress in increasing the representation of women in the industry through careers in areas including engineering, trades, science or operations."
Tania Constable, Chief Executive of the Minerals Council of Australia, said the partnership with the Wallaroos was aimed at supporting the current generation of Australian women's rugby and inspiring the next.
