Minister for Emergency Services Jaclyn Symes visits Recovery Hub in Seymour

Minister for Emergency Services Jaclyn Symes made a tour of the recently established Recovery Hub in Seymour on Wednesday 28 June.

The Hub is a central part of ongoing support measures designed to aid community members as they continue to recover from the October 2022 flood.

Minister Symes' visit was marked by in-depth discussions with various community representatives and stakeholders.

These included Mitchell Shire Councillors, members of the Mitchell Shire Recovery team, representatives from different support agencies, community members, and members of the Community Recovery Committee.

Together, they shared perspectives and insights on the Recovery Hub's crucial role in fostering resilience and facilitating the community's ongoing recovery journey.

At the heart of the Recovery Hub's operations is the commitment to provide a wide range of support to community members impacted by the flood.

Thirteen different support agencies work from the Hub to offer comprehensive and tailored assistance to meet the diverse needs of those affected.

Located on Guild Street, Seymour, the Hub operates from 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring accessibility to those in need.
