About 9.05am, a silver Ford Falcon XR6 sedan and a Stark Varg electric off-road motorcycle, collided on Boyare Avenue near Honeywell Avenue.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
The Ford Falcon sedan left the area after the crash. The driver is now assisting officers with their inquiries.
