Missing 17-year-old boy at Burpengary

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 17-year-old boy reported missing from Burpengary.

The boy was last seen on Matthew Crescent around 11pm on Saturday, October 29, and has not been heard from since.

Police believe the boy may be using the rail network and has previously used trains to travel into Brisbane CBD, as well as northside suburbs and shopping centres such as North Lakes.

The boy is described as Caucasian, with a solid build, black hair, brown eyes and around 170cm tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with red drawstrings, and blue pants, and may be travelling with a dark blue backpack.

Police hold concern for the boy's welfare due to his age, and ongoing medical conditions that require medication. He may have challenges communicating with strangers.

Anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts, are asked to contact police.
