Police have located the body of a girl reported missing from Wagga Wagga.
The 12-year-old was last seen about 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday 9 May 2021) in Mount Austin.
Officers from Riverina Police District were notified of her disappearance after she failed to return home later that evening and commenced an investigation.
The girl's body was discovered in bushland in the Willans Hill area about 9.30am today (Monday 10 May 2021).
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
