Missing man and woman, Port of Brisbane

Police are currently searching for two people missing off the Port of Brisbane.

Shortly before 7pm last night police were notified that a 54-year-old man and 48-year-old woman had not returned from a fishing trip. A search was commenced immediately.

Water Police and Polair, along with the Volunteer Marine Rescue and Coast Guard, are focussing their search in and around the Port of Brisbane, Mud Island and Redcliffe area.

The boat the man and woman were in, a Quintrex 440 Renegade dinghy (pictured below), is also yet to be located.
