Missing teenage boy at Hunter

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenager from the Hunter.

Andrei Timis, aged 15, was last seen at about 9.30am today (Monday 31 August 2020), after he left the John Hunter Hospital in New Lambton Heights.

Officers from Newcastle City Police District were contacted shortly after and have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family hold grave concerns for his welfare.

Andrei is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, with a thin build and shoulder length brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, light denim jeans and barefoot.

He is known to have connections with Muswellbrook and Sydney and may have travelled to either of these locations.
