Ballina Shire Council will be installing new safety guardrails on Missingham Bridge from 7am to 5pm Thursday 20 August 2026, weather permitting.
What to expect:
- The bridge will be reduced to one lane under traffic control, between 9am and 3pm.
- Motorists travelling in either direction should expect delays, allow extra travel time or consider an alternate route where possible.
- The western footpath will be closed from 9am – 5pm. Pedestrians are advised to use the eastern footpath.
