Moira Hive Of Activity As Major Projects Move Forward

Communities across Moira Shire will soon see benefits from a busy period of construction activity across the region, with significant progress occurring on a number of major projects

Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson said there was a real sense of momentum, with several projects completed early or nearing completion despite challenges with recent weather.

"It's really encouraging to see such strong progress right across the Shire, with a mix of major projects and upgrades to infrastructure," Dr Emonson said.

"From one of our largest projects in recent years with the new Yarrawonga library, to resurfacing rural roads to make them safer, to constructing Moira's first off-leash dog park, we are seeing a number of projects completed or taking significant steps forward in construction.

"These projects not only improve the places we live, but they also show that Council is delivering on long-awaited projects, including improvements and upgrades that the community has told us are important for them."
