Dr Deb Parkinson, from Monash University's Disaster Resilience Initiative (MUDRI), is speaking today at an event that coincides with the '16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence' campaign. Dr Parkinson is Executive Director of Gender and Disaster Australia.
The event will include addresses by Hon. Justine Elliot MP, Assistant Minister for Social Services and Assistant Minister for the Prevention of Family Violence, and Janelle Saffin MP, Member for Lismore.
