More than 200 weapons seized during search warrant - South Coogee

Investigations are continuing after police seized more than 200 weapons during a search warrant at Coogee yesterday.

About 11am (Thursday 12 March 2020), officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended a unit in Wauhope Crescent to assist Housing NSW after weapons were located at the location.

Officers executed a search warrant at the unit and allegedly located 12 rifles, two double-barrelled shotguns, nine handguns, six crossbows, five paintball guns, 82 knives, 14 extendable batons, three cans of pepper spray, 11 handcuffs, four ballistic vests, firearm parts, ammunition, nunchakus, and knuckle dusters.

These items were seized to undergo forensic examination.

As inquiries continue, investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
