Morley restaurant fire investigation

Arson Squad detectives continue to seek assistance from the public for information about a fire at a Shisha Bar and restaurant located on Walter Road West Morley on Wednesday, 23 September 2020.

Just before 3am, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to reports of a fire at the premises. The fire caused extensive damage to the bar/restaurant and the estimated damage cost is $150,000.

The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.

Arson Squad detectives wish to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area and ask anyone with dash-cam or CCTV vision of the area around the time of the fire to come forward.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
