Detectives from the Vehicle Crime Squad and Brimbank Criminal Investigation Unit with the assistance of police from CIRT have executed a number of warrants this morning as part of Operation Unwanted.
Operation Unwanted is an investigation into the theft and rebirthing of motor vehicles in the North West Metro area.
Police executed the warrants at three private properties on Robinsons Road, Deer Park early this morning.
Police have seized two stolen motorbikes and a vehicle during the warrant.
A 37-year-old man from Point Cook is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Victoria Police will continue to target theft of motor vehicles and subsequent rebirthing in the area.
