Motorcycle rider detected 122km/h over speed limit - Sylvania

A motorcycle rider has had his licence suspended after being detected travelling at more than 120km/h over the marked speed limit in Sydney's south yesterday.

About 12.45am (Friday 18 December 2020), officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command detected a black Kawasaki motorcycle allegedly travelling at 192km/h in a 70km/h zone on the Princes Highway, near Tom Uglys Bridge, Sylvania.

Police stopped the rider, a 30-year-old Maroubra man, and issued him an infringement notice for exceed speed (more than 45km/h).

His licence was suspended for six months.
