Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Beenleigh 22 May

Police are currently investigating a serious traffic crash in Beenleigh last night, 21 May.

At 6.38pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of George Street and Main Street following reports a grey Mitsubishi and a bicycle had collided.

The bicycle rider, a 36-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The driver, a 33-year-old woman was not physically injured and is assisting police.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has relevant dashcam vision, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
