Motorcycle rider dies after crash - Haberfield

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Sydney's Inner West.

About 8.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 27 December 2022), emergency services responded to reports of a motorcyclist colliding with a metal speed advisory sign along the medium strip in the west bound lanes of the City West Link, Haberfield, near Boomerang Street.

The rider – a 21-year-old man – and sole occupant of the motorcycle died at the scene.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
