Police are investigating after a fatal collision in Mulgrave this morning.
Emergency services were called to Springvale Road near Wellington Road about 5.35am to reports a motorcycle had collided with a truck.
The male motorcycle rider, who has yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The truck driver stopped, dialled triple zero, has spoken with police and was taken to hospital for observation.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
