Motorcyclist dies after collision with ute - Cranebrook

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Sydney's west this morning.

Emergency services were called to Londonderry Road at Cranebrook, after the bike and a utility collided about 5.45am (Thursday 22 October 2020).

The rider, believed to be a man, died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.

The male driver of the ute was not injured and has been taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU) are en route to the scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area as Londonderry Road is expected to be closed for some time while the scene is examined; please check www.livetraffic.com for updates.
