Motorcyclist dies in Allansford collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Allansford this afternoon.

Investigators have been told the motorcyclist was travelling along Ziegler Parade when the motorbike and utility collided about 4.10pm.

The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old Allansford man, sadly died at the scene.

The driver of the utility, a 75-year-old Warrnambool man, was treated by paramedics at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the cause of the collision.
