Motorcyclist dies - Wyong Creek

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the Central Coast this morning.

About 11am today (Thursday 4 February 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Yarramalong Road and Chandlers Lane at Wyong Creek, after reports a motorcycle travelling east and a Jeep Grand Cherokee travelling west collided and the rider was ejected from the bike.

The male rider died at the scene; he is yet to be formally identified.

The female driver of the Jeep was uninjured and taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash have commenced, anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
