Motorcyclists intercepted driving at high speeds

Last month an officer from the Road Policing Command, detected two separate incidents where motorcycles were travelling at dangerously high speeds, Queensland Police say.

The first motorcycle was recorded to be travelling at 174km/h on Boonah Beaudesert Road, Wyaralong.

The second motorcycle was recorded to be travelling at 192km/h per hour on the Cunningham Highway, Willowbank.

Both motorcyclists did pull over and were issued with fines worth $1,177 with an automatic six month suspension of their licences.

Both these incidents were detected through a unmarked police motorcycle, remember, anywhere, anytime.
