Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a driver after several attacks on cyclists in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Investigators have been told the driver of a red Mitsubishi SUV, with partially covered plates, physically assaulted and threw bottles at numerous cyclists on South Road, Moorabbin and Beach Road, Brighton.
Detectives have released CCTV image of a vehicle they believe was involved in the incidents.
