Mount Warren Park Residents Get Safer, Reliable Commute

Dept of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications

The Albanese and Crisafulli Governments have completed a major upgrade to Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road at Mount Warren Park, delivering a safer, more efficient journey for local residents and road users.

The completed project has transformed a busy section of road between Mount Warren Boulevard and Tallagandra Road from two lanes to four, significantly improving traffic flow in both directions, easing congestion and reducing the likelihood of crashes on this important Logan corridor.

The $20 million project was jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, with each government committing $10 million.

Construction began in February last year and was completed this month.

In addition to improved travel times, the project has delivered new and upgraded footpaths and shared paths, dedicated on-road bicycle lanes, extensive drainage improvements to boost flood resilience and a new noise barrier on the eastern side of the road for nearby residents.
