Mullaloo incident

Around 7pm last night (24 April 2021), police were called to a residence on Precision Drive in Mullaloo after receiving reports from members of the public that a party was occurring at the residence in breach of current restrictions.

On arrival, police sighted approximately 10 vehicles parked outside the home and loud music coming from the residence.

Police located several people who do not reside at the home inside the premises and several more hiding in the backyard behind various objects and plants.

The 42-year-old male occupant of the home was advised that he is facing a charge in relation to the breaching of the Stay at Home Directions – Section 86(1) Fail to comply with a Direction.

Inquiries are continuing in relation to the possible sanction of the non-residents who were in attendance.

During these unprecedented times, the community are urged to do the right thing and to follow the latest COVID directions, to help limit the spread of COVID-19 in Western Australia, and to keep their friends, family and wider community safe.
