Bass Coast Shire Council has launched a free online service that enables individuals, businesses and community organisations to easily identify and access funding opportunities from local, state and federal governments and other grant programs.
Council’s new Grant Finder website includes a dedicated COVID-19 funding page, gathering the many COVID-19 funding opportunities into one place. This ‘one-stop shop’ approach will save precious time and effort spent on research.
By registering on the website, users can create favourites lists, receive direct email alerts from their chosen areas of interest and keep up to date with potential funding opportunities and deadlines.
The website also offers advice and top tips for finding and applying for grants and allows users to filter their search by a specific location, industry or type of project.
Bass Coast CEO Ali Wastie said now more than ever, it’s important that individuals, businesses and organisations know what financial support is available to them and how to apply for it.
“Grant Finder is a great support tool for our community. It will go a long way to taking the time and stress out of searching for community and business funding,” Ms Wastie said.
