New $800m grants program to transform Australian manufacturing

The Australian Government is providing A$800 million in co-funding to encourage collaboration on major manufacturing projects in Australia.

The Manufacturing Collaboration Stream provides funding for a small number of large, transformational projects. These projects should have business-to-business collaboration at their core, or business-to-research collaboration at their core.

What's in it for international organisations

International investors, businesses and researchers are invited to partner with Australian organisations on large-scale projects.

The funding will focus on Australia's six National Manufacturing Priorities:

Eligible projects will receive funding for up to one-third of project costs. Grant sizes range between A$20 million and A$200 million.

Application dates

Companies must lodge their applications between 11 August and 9 September.
