New dates for Sunshine Coast MultiSport Festival

New dates for the Sunshine Coast MultiSport Festival have been announced with May 25 and 26 now marked on the calendars of action seekers.

Event partners and service providers including Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, SEQ Water, the Sunshine Coast Council and Tourism and Events Queensland have worked with In2Adventure to reschedule the festival from late April, which is great news for the event and the Sunshine Coast region.

Sunshine Coast Council Tourism, Events and Sport Portfolio Councillor Jason O'Pray welcomed the announcement.

"This unique MultiSport Festival at Landsborough will showcase the stunning natural environment of Ewen Maddock Dam and Beerwah State Forest," Cr O'Pray said.

The May 25-26 festival will retain the same format as previously promoted including all the off-road action of the TreX Australian Series Championships and the Sunshine Coast Mountain Bike Festival.

All entries will be automatically transferred to the new event date. Full details can be found on the website for those participants unable to make the new dates.
