New equipment will help Moncton manufacturer boost productivity and capacity

Federal investment supports company's growth

Today, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, announced a repayable contribution of $300,000 to help Precision Countertops acquire new advanced manufacturing equipment. The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.

The new equipment will help reduce waste and decrease costs, while increasing production and labour efficiency. Through the increased production capacity, Precision Countertops will be able to grow its market opportunities.

Today's announcement further demonstrates the Government of Canada's commitment to help businesses grow, reach new markets and contribute to Atlantic Canada's economic recovery.
