New Exhibition for No Name Lane - OUTSIDER

No Name Lane Gallery

Last week Frank Lindner's THE OUTSIDER exhibition was launched in the No Name Lane Outside Photography Gallery in Queanbeyan.

This is the second exhibition in the recently renovated laneway and we are excited to showcase the work of talented local artists.

Frank Lindner is a Braidwood photographer who won the QPRC Acquisitive Art Award in 2022. His emotive portraiture often uses surroundings and props in a theatrical way to take viewers on a visual journey.

The bright outdoor gallery is a central thoroughfare in Queanbeyan and this exhibition can be viewed until October.

In his artist statement Frank shared, 'No Name Lane encourages unconstrained affective states so pedestrians in Queanbeyan might be open to stopping, engaging and making what they will of this series of images.'

The lightbox images in the gallery will be changed twice a year to showcase the talented work of local photographers.

At this stage exhibitions are by invitation only and prospective photographers are identified by the QPRC Public Art Advisory Panel.
