Minister for Education, Jason Clare and the Member for Deakin, Matt Gregg today opened a new, purpose-built gymnasium at Croydon Primary School.
The full-court gym gives students and staff at Croydon Primary School access to a state-of-the-art facility for sporting activities right at school.
The Commonwealth Government provided $6.8 million through the Schools Upgrade Fund for the gymnasium.
The Schools Upgrade Fund is delivering funding to improve school facilities across the country.
The entire Croydon community will benefit from this facility with the building open to the local community for sporting and other youth-orientated events in the evenings.
