Southern Sydney residents now have greater access to affordable, high-quality medical imaging with the launch of a new MRI machine at Dr Glenn and Partners Medical Imaging in Kogarah.
Following the Medicare MRI licence changes on 1 July 2025, the machine is fully licensed, allowing bulk billing for more patients and making high-quality imaging services more accessible and affordable for the Georges River community.
With one Australian hospitalised for a head injury every four minutes, timely access to MRI imaging is crucial. The new machine will support grassroots sport, clinical innovation, and overall community wellbeing.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg recently attended the official launch of The Magnetic Movement at Dr Glenn & Partners' newly refurbished Kogarah clinic.
