New Path Connecting To Maloneys Beach Foreshore

A new 450 metre path will complete the Northcove Road footpath. By connecting two existing sections the continuous 1.6 kilometre path from Long Beach Road to the Maloneys Beach foreshore will be finished by the end of the year, providing easier and safer walking for the people of Long Beach.

Work on the path begins this month, including the relocation of services and the removal of some trees - including five mature spotted gums - to enable the project. Footpath construction begins a few weeks later. The new section of path will match the style and layout of the existing paths.

The work is funded by Council as previous grant applications for this project were unsuccessful.
