New survey to help improve mobile coverage in rural and remote areas

AgForce is encouraging producers to help improve regional and remote connectivity by taking part in a quick survey.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is in the midst of a regional mobile infrastructure inquiry, which gives us the opportunity to shape future telecommunications policy and channel funding to where it is needed most.

The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and asks questions on the following themes:

  • How are businesses and rural communities impacted by a lack of mobile coverage in their area?
  • Where can mobile coverage be improved?
  • Would you support the provision of temporary mobile roaming during and after an emergency or natural disaster?

To take part please click on this link.

The survey closes on February 5.
