New TV show highlights importance of women in ag

AgForce is encouraging members to consider taking part in an exciting new TV series that celebrates women in ag.

Freemantle Media is looking for cattle stations in Queensland to be featured in the upcoming documentary Outback Jillaroo.

The show will follow the lives of seven to ten women as they train to become station hands, and aims to highlight the crucial role women play in agriculture.

Producers will act as 'host' stations where the female trainees will be placed in the first year of their careers.

Please note - this is not a reality or entertainment series - this is a documentary series.

The time frame for filming is between three and six months, and filming doesn't happen all the time - just during agreed periods.

If there are people who don't want to be filmed, then the team will work around these people and they won't be filmed.
