The University of Plymouth is celebrating the start of 2026 by throwing open its doors to anyone thinking of a career in the creative industries, on Saturday 10 January.
The Creative Futures Taster Day is a hands-on day of creative workshops, inspiring creative industries talks. Tours of the University's facilities, games arcades, creative arts exhibits, and pop-up shops, plus guidance to prospective students on how to put their portfolios together.
Plymouth is ranked second in the UK for Creative Arts and Design and first in the South West for learning opportunities in the subject area, according to feedback in 2025's National Student Survey.
And January's event will feature the University's students, alumni and academic staff, including the Head of the School of Art, Design and Architecture,
