Next Few Months Are Packed With Family Fun

Cabramatta Moon Festival 2025

Our 25th Cabramatta Moon Festival was a huge success last week. I hope you made it down to catch the first ever Australian National Lion Dance Competition and join in all the fun of the festival.

The good times keep rolling with a jam-packed line-up of activities and events coming up for the last few months of the year. Swing by Canley Heights Town Centre on Saturday 25 October, 4-8pm, for the ultimate Halloween party with rides, top costume prizes and fireworks.

The crowd favourite 'Halloween at the Museum' is back at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery on Friday 31 October from 5pm. Get your spook on in your creepiest costume for a night brimming with eerie games, crafty fun, and trick or treating through the Vintage Village. It's popular, so snap up tickets at www.fcmg.nsw.gov.au before they vanish.

Children aged 5 to 12 living in or attending school in Fairfield City can now enter the 'Design the Mayor's Christmas Card Competition'. The winning masterpiece will feature on our official 2025 Christmas card delivered to every home in the City. Download your entry form on our website and show us your creativity.

On 28 November from 5pm, we are launching The Canleys Special Entertainment Precincts that will allow Canley Heights and Canley Vale town centres to regularly burst with vibrant nightlife and entertainment well into the night. Come to the launch and enjoy live music, entertainment, offerings from local businesses and fireworks.

That's not to mention all the activities we have in store to celebrate Christmas in Fairfield and Illuminate, our New Year's Eve celebration at Fairfield Showground. Stay tuned on social media and to this fortnightly newsletter to find out the latest and how you can get involved.
